The outdoor seating is set in the inner garden rather than by the street, which makes for a relatively quiet and safe atmosphere. It’s calm from opening until just before lunch, but the restaurant can get busy fairly early. The truffle ravioli was rich and flavorful, and the beef Wellington was tender and not greasy—really enjoyable. The tiramisu was also tasty and not overly heavy. One thing to note is that the portion sizes aren’t particularly large for the price, so keep that in mind when ordering.

At the first time we just entered for a drink, but then, on the next evening, we arrived for dinner. It was a fabulous experience with delicious food, great wine, very nice atmosphere and wonderful service. I’m sure the next time in Rome we will go back.

We had a wonderful meal here. Their complimentary soup was delicious, I wanted more! We started off by sharing the truffle and cheese ravioli (forgot the exact name) but the taste has not left my memory- wow, my tastebuds were in heaven! Also had a perfect filet with a truffle butter and potato au gratin. The courtyard had great ambience.

From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and welcoming atmosphere make you feel at home. The food is exceptional — fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and beautifully prepared dishes that reflect true Italian craftsmanship. Every bite feels thoughtfully made, from the starters to the main courses, and the attention to detail is impressive. The service deserves special appreciation. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring a wonderful dining experience. They are happy to guide you through the menu and make excellent recommendations. My favourite restaurant in the home country. Happy to visit here whenever I come back.

BABETTE CAKE - the crispy edges were ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. It was caramelised gingerbread crisp that was basically a burst of flavour. The complimentary dish - either soup or bread was a showstopper as well. The fragrance of the potato soup was unforgettable - cheesey and savoury. The wines were delicious - I had the drier Chianti Classico while my madame had the fruitier Chardonnay. The quiche was perfectly cooked, with a layer of cheese wedged between two lovely layers of quiche. Not to mention that it was recommended by our attentive and highly sociable waiter that helped us in every way possible, with our luggage to recommendations, and making us laugh.

Straight up just ate the best vegetable soup I’ve ever had in my life. Wish I took a photo of the before. Great super chill atmosphere in the courtyard. Beats the hustle and bustle on the streets nearby. Our table had two of the pastas, a steak, and the Wellington. All tasted great. We come to Rome annually and will definitely make this a regular stop. Also they had the best bread we’ve had so far in this trip.

An authentic Roman gem: excellent food, a sommelier who truly knows her wines, impeccable attention to detail, and a beautifully warm atmosphere. A well-kept secret—exactly the kind of place Romans prefer to keep to themselves.
